Cancellations & Rescheduling
Minimum 12 hours notice required
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, you must give at least 12 hours notice before the scheduled start time. This allows your tutor to adjust their schedule accordingly.
How to cancel or reschedule
Contact your tutor directly as soon as possible if you think you may not be able to attend. Do not wait until the last minute — if you are unsure whether you can make it, message your tutor immediately.
Cancellations with 12+ hours notice
Sessions cancelled with at least 12 hours notice can be rescheduled at no extra cost. The session credit will be held and applied to your next booking.
Cancellations with less than 12 hours notice
Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the session start time may result in the session credit being forfeited at the tutor's discretion. We understand emergencies happen — if something unexpected comes up, contact your tutor straight away and we will do our best to accommodate you.
No-Shows
No notice = no refund or reschedule
If a student does not attend their session and gives no notice before the session start time, the session credit will not be refunded and the session cannot be rescheduled. The tutor's time is valuable and must be respected.
What counts as a no-show
A no-show is when a student fails to join the session within 15 minutes of the start time without any prior communication to their tutor.
Repeated no-shows
Students who repeatedly miss sessions without notice may have their tutoring arrangement reviewed or terminated. We reserve the right to pause or end sessions for students who consistently fail to attend.
Tutor Cancellations
If your tutor cancels
If your tutor needs to cancel a session, they will give you as much notice as possible. The session will be rescheduled at a time that suits you, or a full credit will be applied to your account.
Tutor no-shows
In the rare event that a tutor does not attend without notice, you will receive a full credit for that session and we will work to resolve the situation immediately.
Free Trial Sessions
£20 refundable deposit
A £20 deposit is required to secure your free trial session. This deposit is fully refunded automatically once you attend your session — no questions asked.
Trial no-shows
If you do not attend your trial session and give no prior notice, the £20 deposit will not be refunded. If you need to reschedule your trial, please give at least 12 hours notice.
